Prime Minister Kishida, who was visiting India and Cambodia, returned to Japan on the afternoon of the 21st after completing a series of schedules.

Prime Minister Kishida visited India and Cambodia for three days from the 19th, and held a summit meeting with Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Hun Sen.

In the series of talks, opinions were exchanged on the situation in Ukraine where Russia's military invasion continues, and they agreed that unilateral changes in the status quo by force should not be allowed in any region, and will work together to protect the international order. I confirmed that.

After completing the series of schedules, Prime Minister Kishida arrived at Haneda Airport on a government plane after 3:30 pm on the 21st.

Prime Minister Kishida will attend the G7 summit in Belgium on the 24th of this week after taking part in the decision of the budget for the new year = Reiwa 4th year, which is being deliberated in the House of Councilors. I would like to confirm the unity with the G7 leaders over the situation in Ukraine.
