A video of passengers singing the nursery rhyme 'Baby Shark' is a hot topic online to appease a crying child on the plane.

On the 20th local time, foreign media such as Indian Express introduced a popular video that has been viewed more than 7 million times on social media recently.

According to foreign media, the video was filmed on the 10th on a flight from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Tirana, the capital of Albania.

In the video, the boy in the arms of his father bursts out crying as if he is afraid of the unfamiliar environment of the airplane.

The passengers then sing 'Baby Shark' and clap to the beat to appease the child.

The child looked around at the familiar song suddenly heard, and then stopped crying.

Travel blogger Parixit Baloch, who filmed the video, explained the situation at the time in an interview with The National, a UAE media outlet.

He added, "Neighboring passengers tried to divert the child's attention, but it didn't work. Some people, including me, started singing 'Baby Shark', and many people followed suit," he added.

Netizens who saw the video responded, "Thanks to kind and kind people, it warms my heart", "Why we should work together", and "One song saved many people".

The nursery rhyme 'Baby Shark', produced by a domestic children's content company, became the first YouTube hit, surpassing 10 billion views.

This is a 'news pick'.
