Cycling "Luxembourgish" is free for visitors to the Dubai Expo 24 March

The Luxembourg Pavilion has announced that the "Luxembourg and Cycling" show will be held from Thursday 24 to 27 March, under the auspices of the Minister of Sports of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg George Engel, and all Expo 2020 Dubai ticket holders are allowed to attend the show for free.

A press release said the exhibition is the first part of Luxembourg's "Ride Your Bike for Youth, Diversity and Inclusion" initiative, which promotes the joy of cycling and its incredible power in connecting people from all over the world.

The event will take place in the Melusina Events Hall in the Luxembourg Pavilion, and begin with an opening ceremony on March 24, in the presence of Georges Engel.

Also coming as guest of honor will be Andy Schleck, winner of the 2010 Tour de France and runner-up at the same famous cycling race in 2009 and 2011.

The display includes the bike used by Andy Schleck at the Tour de France, as well as bikes from three Tour de France winners from Luxembourg: Nicolas Frantz, who has racked up more than 60 career victories, Charlie Gaul, considered the greatest in cycling history, and François Fabre, who He was the first non-French national to win the Tour de France in 1909.

The Ride Your Bike for Youth, Diversity and Inclusion campaign will include three fun sporting events, each designed to be accessible to guests of all ages.

There will also be a group tour around the famous Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on Friday 25 March, while the program also includes the Expo Race organized by the Luxembourg Pavilion in collaboration with Expo 2020 Dubai on Saturday 26 March, and the “Ride the Worldwide Luxembourg” event organized by the Luxembourg Pavilion on 27 March.
