It is

without the tenors of the opposition

that the dialogue began this Monday morning in the hemicycle of the National Assembly.

Several hundred people were present: members of the government, deputies, diplomats... There were also former presidents Michel Djotodia and Catherine Samba-Panza, the former warlord Abdoulaye Hissène.

The chairman of the preparatory committee, Minister of State Obed Namsio, said he regretted the absence of the opposition.

Apart from two representatives in the presidium and despite the “

outstretched hand of the Head of State

 ”.

“

The door is always open

 ,” he said.

This is not one dialogue too many, but one more chance for peace

 ," said President Touadera.

Before giving, with a bell, the starting signal for three days of work in committee then three days of debates.

The topics covered will be very broad.

The objective of the organizers is to put an end to the crisis and to restore peace, without however specifying by which concrete measures, hoping that a solution will arise from the discussions.
