A skull was discovered in Choisy-au-Bac (Oise) by volunteers who had gathered to pick up litter in the forest.
Dispatched to the scene, the gendarmes exhumed other bones, vertebrae and part of the trunk and pelvis, reports

The skeleton was not hidden.
The soldiers found two bags, clothes and a bottle of water nearby.
The criminal investigation technicians have taken samples and will now have to determine when the bones date from.
Death could go back several years, even several decades.
The body of a missing person?
According to the first elements, the body would be that of a small woman.
“We would be more on the profile of a missing person.
There are no elements that would suggest an act of a criminal nature, ”confided to our colleagues the prosecutor of Compiègne, Marie-Céline Lawrysz.
The teeth found could help identify the victim.
