Hundreds of refugees arrive every day from Ukraine to Sweden.

Aid workers and government personnel are there to receive, but the police suspect that there are also those with criminal intentions.

- It is everything from inviting people home or letting them live at home and wanting to pay in kind, to larger networks that deal with pure human trafficking, says Daniel Löfgren, operations manager at the Stockholm Police.

Special police operation

The police have launched a special effort to detect people who falsely pretend to help unaccompanied children and women.

The City of Stockholm has also established an outreach activity with staff who will detect and coordinate efforts on site.

- So far, it is a matter of us preventing the exploitation and exploitation of people from occurring at all.

But we have also seen some indications that there have been rogue men, says Jan Jönsson (L) Social City Council Stockholm City.
