He added, explaining: "When the dawn call to prayer in Khorfakkan is 04:48, in the capital Abu Dhabi it is 04:56, and in Sila and Ghuwaifat it is 05:08," noting that "on the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan, the time for the start of fasting in the capital Abu Dhabi will be with the call to prayer in the capital Abu Dhabi. Fajr is at 04:56 a.m., and iftar/sunset is at 06:42 p.m., and the number of fasting hours is 13:46 hours.” He pointed out that “at the end of Ramadan, the start of fasting and dawn is at 04:26 a.m. and breakfast/sunset/ at 06:55 p.m. The number of fasting hours is 14:28 hours.

The Emirates Astronomy Society had announced that "the blessed month of Ramadan begins astronomically on Saturday, 2 April, and the blessed Eid al-Fitr and the first of Shawwal will be on Monday, 2 May 2022, and thus, it is expected that Ramadan 1433 AH will complete 30 days."
