A two-year-old child was taken care of by the emergency services early Thursday afternoon in Nogent-sur-Oise (Oise).

His condition necessitated his transfer by helicopter to the hospital in Amiens.

He would have been the victim of a very serious fall, the circumstances of which remain unclear, reports

Le Parisien

.

Rumors quickly spread on social networks after the tragedy, evoking a fall from the sixth floor.

But a police officer questioned by our colleagues assures us that the child did not fall from such a height.

If his family lives on the sixth floor of a building, the accident would have occurred in the residence.

The mother of the little victim would have explained to have had a moment of inattention, without knowing how her child had been injured.

A fall from its height

Firefighters and doctors believe that the child fell from his height.

Observations were made on the spot but no trace of blood was found on the ground.

A psychological unit has been set up in a school located opposite the residence.

Some schoolchildren, who were returning from the canteen, would indeed have attended the scene.
