A 25-year-old ex-entrepreneur was taken into police custody on Wednesday at the Toulouse police station following a report from the public finance department.

She had established that he had improperly received 17,000 euros as part of the solidarity fund for companies that suffered from the health crisis.

The man admitted the facts.

He even indicated that he had resorted to filling out the forms, and for 2,000 euros, to a man who had contacted him online.

The suspect remaining evasive about this "broker" in public aid, the police have not yet managed to identify him.

The ex-entrepreneur has undertaken to gradually repay his debt.

He also has a court date next September for a “guilty plea” procedure.
