Bertil Malmberg was prosecuted and later convicted in the district court for the statement.
After the verdict, the Sweden Democrats expelled him from the party.
Malmberg, who today is politically savage, appealed the verdict to the Court of Appeal.
But even there he was convicted of incitement against an ethnic group.
- I think they have handled it lightly.
They have not made any further analysis but only followed the district court's reasoning, he says.
He is sentenced to a 40-day fine of a total of SEK 24,000.
