Garlic has been cultivated by humans for over 5000 years.

Known to the Sumerians, it was also found on the shores of the Caspian Sea, in the plains of Kazakhstan.

This plant was introduced to Europe by the Romans.

Henri IV, whose lips had been rubbed with a clove of garlic at birth to give him the strength of a leader, will greatly contribute to the development of his culture.

Garlic has always been adorned with many virtues: in Egypt, the workers who built the pyramids received a daily ration, in Greece, the athletes who participated in the Olympic Games shelled a clove before the tests.

Today, we still lend many medicinal virtues: it would help for example to fight sore throat or infections.

But he is also credited with more esoteric faculties such as allowing better sleep by placing a clove of garlic under his pillow.

Garlic would also keep vampires away!

Why ?

Because it contains a molecule called "agoene" which modifies blood circulation and more particularly that of vampires...
