- The refugees who come from Ukraine and have not had time to seek asylum will receive the necessary medical care, dental care and medicine that they need urgently.

The decision was made by the regional board but will also be hammered out by the regional council shortly.
According to Mikael Johansson (M), there was political agreement on the decision.
- We are talking about quite small sums.
They come here without money and bank cards and this is free while waiting for asylum.
If there are large sums, the Swedish Migration Agency will help us solve it.
But as soon as they apply for asylum, it is no longer the region's costs because then it ends up in the Swedish Migration Board's regulations, says Mikael Johansson (M).

In the Kalmar County Region, no decision has yet been made in the same matter, but the issue will be raised at the next meeting with the regional board.
