Straight from Ukraine, a brother and a sister received a standing ovation from the students of their new school in Italy.
The scene took place at the beginning of March, at the Don Milani Institute in Pomigliano d'Arco, in the suburbs of Naples, reports HuffPost.
Dimitri and Victoria, aged 8 and 10 respectively, fled Ukraine with their mother because of the war that started almost three weeks ago.
The family now resides with the children's grandmother, who has lived near Naples for 20 years.
Their father stayed behind.

Guard of honor and cheers
The brother and sister will now continue their education in an Italian school where a warm welcome has been reserved for them.
On the video, viewed more than six million times on Twitter, we see the two schoolchildren entering their new establishment.
There, students and staff made them a guard of honor and cheered them on before two comrades came to take them by the hand to show them around.
According to Unicef, every second a new child becomes a refugee.
In the past 20 days, around 1.4 million children have been forced to flee the country, James Elder, a UNICEF spokesman, told a regular UN press briefing in Geneva.
In total, the number of people who fled Ukraine reached more than 2.95 million people, according to the latest count from the High Commissioner for Refugees, Tuesday around 10 a.m.
