The weather Wednesday: the autan wind weakens, yellow sky and sand dust to the north

Wednesday, the weather will be overcast and rainy in the morning on Brittany and the Channel coasts.

In the afternoon, the rains will shift over the Pays de la Loire and Normandy.

In the evening, the rains will stretch over the entire Atlantic coast.

Elsewhere on a small western half of the country, the sky will be veiled, in a mild atmosphere.

80 km/h autan wind expected during the day

The sky will gradually darken in the afternoon over the South-West and in the evening it will rain over the Basque Country.

The following night it will snow over the western Pyrenees above 2000 m.

The autan wind will still blow at 80 km/h during the day and will weaken in the evening.

Around the Gulf of Lion, this wind will accompany sea entries.

Elsewhere in the southeast, the sun will dominate before the skies cloud over in the afternoon.

The weather will be sunny from the Alps to the Massif Central, in the Center and the Paris region.

To the north and east of the Seine, it will sometimes be necessary to wait for the dissipation of the morning greyness, which is locally slow near the borders.

Minimum temperatures will be between 3 and 7 degrees in the Northeast, Center and Auvergne, and 7 to 12 elsewhere from north to south.

The maximum, very mild for mid-March, will vary between 12 and 17 degrees in Brittany and Cotentin, between 18 and 22 in the rest of the country.
