The Egyptian president directs the government to price a loaf of free, unsubsidized bread

A statement by the Egyptian presidency said today, Tuesday, that President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi directed the government to price the unsubsidized free loaf of bread to reduce its high price.

He also directed the speedy determination of the additional import incentive for the local wheat price for the current agricultural season and its announcement as soon as possible.

Al-Sisi called for seeking to increase the strategic stockpile of basic food commodities for a period of no less than six months.
