- We do not propose a ban on using these products, but on buying them. 

- The proposal is inspired by a similar New Zealand bill from December last year. 

In addition to the tobacco ban, the government wants to ban the sale of alcohol to anyone under the age of 18, which would be an increase in the age limit by two years.
