Long before the ferry from Poland arrived at Verköhamnen in Karlskrona on Monday evening, Nina Stålstierna from Stockholm was on site.

- I'm waiting for my sister's daughter-in-law Lena Kurchenko and her two children.

It feels absolutely wonderful that they are coming.

There has been a lot of longing and worry, she says.

Nina Stålstierna says that several family members are left in the country, without the opportunity to escape.

- I have my eldest son and his family left.

And Lena has her husband and parents left.

So it's very hard.

They live in hell there, she says.

See the reunion and hear more voices in the clip above.
