China News Service, March 14. According to the TASS news agency, on the 14th local time, the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos) said that American astronauts will return to Earth on a Russian spacecraft.
US astronaut Mark Vande Hei will return to Earth from the International Space Station on March 30 with two Russian astronauts aboard the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft, Roscosmos press center said.
Earlier, some American media questioned whether Russia would refuse to send American astronauts back to Earth due to a series of sanctions caused by the situation in Ukraine.
Roscosmos stressed that the safety of the crew of the International Space Station is the most important priority.
