President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol went to work for the first time today (14th) at the office of the elected president in Toongui-dong, Jongno-gu.

President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol first went to work this morning at the office of the president-elect at the Financial Supervisory Service training center in Toongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.



At 11 am, President-elect Yoon had a meeting with Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the transition committee, Kwon Young-se, vice chairman of the transition committee, and Won Hee-ryong, planning committee chairman.



At this meeting, President-elect Yoon announced that he had appointed former Democratic Party leader Kim Han-gil as the chairman of the National Unification Committee and Kim Byung-jun, former emergency committee chairman, as chairman of the special committee for balanced regional development, respectively.



In an undisclosed meeting, President-elect Yoon reiterated the abolition of the Senior Civil Affairs Office, saying that in the future, the functions of investigation and information investigation will be thoroughly excluded from the affairs of the presidential office, spokeswoman Kim Eun-hye said.



As his first public schedule today, President-elect Yoon had lunch with merchants at Namdaemun Market in Seoul and listened to the voices of merchants.
