Moscow abolishes the mandatory wearing of masks

The Russian capital, Moscow, decided to lift the mandatory wearing of masks, due to the decline in the number of infections with the Corona virus.

"From tomorrow, Tuesday, we will lift the requirement to wear protective masks," Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his blog, while signing a decree in this regard.

It is no longer mandatory for companies to check workers' temperatures.

According to government data today, Monday, 41,000 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in one day across Russia.

Within 24 hours, more than 500 people died of virus-related causes.
