Iranian television said today, Monday, that the Revolutionary Guards managed to thwart a "sabotage operation", which it described as a complex, targeting a nuclear facility south of the capital, Tehran, and arrest all elements of the cell cooperating with the Israeli Mossad to implement it.

Iranian TV added that Israel was planning to carry out a major sabotage act at the "Fordo" nuclear facility near the city of Qom, before the twentieth of this month.

He explained that Israel had recruited elements to get close to technicians working in the sixth generation centrifuge department at the facility.

Iranian television said that an Israeli Mossad officer contacted one of the technicians at the facility, and that the latter cooperated with him in providing information about it.

He stated that the intelligence service of the Revolutionary Guards arrested all the cell cooperating with the Israeli Mossad.
