March 18-19, the bandy finals at Studenternas IP in Uppsala will be decided with junior finals on Friday and senior finals on Saturday.

Ahead of the weekend's decisive matches, tents, kiosks and three new stands, which cost around two million kronor, have been set up.

- We have longed for audiences for two years so it feels normal that they are back.

The preparations are going according to plan and we are starting to get everything in place, it is the finery that remains to be fixed, says Jonas Ekebacke, project manager at Destination Uppsala.

The final returns to Studenternas

For the past two years, the finals have been played without an audience due to the corona pandemic and in 2021 the final was moved from Studenternas to Recoverhallen in Gränby.

When the audience now returns, there is hope of breaking the audience record for the women's final, which was set in 2019.

- It would be great fun to beat the audience record and we aim to make a good, safe and good-looking final.

The latest weather forecast says that it will be radiant sun, nice and wonderful so we hope for a good atmosphere and a good final, says Jonas Ekebacke.
