He stated that more than 40 Spanish companies are working directly in the pavilions of the exhibition, in the context of discovering investment opportunities, promoting business and trade sectors, and forging potential partnerships.

He added that an agreement to encourage and protect investments was approved during the visit of the Prime Minister of Spain, and a memorandum of understanding was signed to enhance investments with the Mubadala Investment Company, indicating that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries has recovered and exceeded levels before the "Covid-19" pandemic, pointing out that the exchange In 2021, the trade volume amounted to nearly 2.8 billion euros, explaining that the volume of the UAE's investments in Spain amounted to about seven billion euros.

Each corner of the pavilion, starting from the facade materials to the furniture, was designed to express the slogan of its various activities. The smart forest at the bottom of the pavilion contains trees made of a special material that absorbs carbon dioxide, and contains Spanish innovations that express the European country's commitment to the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.

The pavilion showcases ways to benefit from renewable energy, such as solar and wind energy, use green hydrogen as an alternative energy, and find smart charging methods to promote the adoption of electric vehicles and the sustainable use of energy, in addition to designing technical solutions to make the Internet of Things possible.
