Launching an artistic initiative to raise awareness of the 15 child protection axes on the occasion of Emirati Children's Day

The Emirates Child Protection Association, in cooperation with Emirati cartoonist Khaled Al Jabri, launched an idea and technical cooperation to address the 15 child protection axes in a caricature style throughout the year, published successively through newspapers, social media channels and accounts of influential and effective personalities (stars, artists, media professionals, broadcasters and others), with the aim of raising awareness The community faces the challenges of child protection and the "legal and moral" obligations of the community in all its spectrums, and ways to address the challenges by offering effective solutions and modern methods of child protection in all aspects.

It is also intended to set up a special art exhibition to display these awareness paintings in conjunction with the International Children's Day, which falls on November 20, in cooperation with national cultural and artistic entities and events, in partnership with all relevant partners from ministries and federal or local government agencies.

Counselor Faisal Muhammad Al-Shammari, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, explained that this technical initiative is the result of institutional awareness and diligence in our awareness of the importance and impact of the civilized artistic message and the impact of cultural awareness and artistic movement on society, and that the importance of this initiative is a renewed method in raising awareness of the risks and challenges of child protection at the level of the state and the region. and the world, and that the Emirates Child Protection Association looks forward to delivering its message to the largest possible segment of society by positively exploiting social media channels, influencers, and television and press news channels.

Al-Shammari stressed that the announcement of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, in July 2017, the establishment of the "Emirati Children's Day" on March 15 of each year, to celebrate this day, and urged Her Highness All segments of society participate in this event, and this annual celebration, which coincides with the signing of the United Arab Emirates on the Universal Children’s Charter, to encourage children to exercise their rights, and to honor the mother who strives with all the tenderness, strength and efficiency that God has bestowed upon her to raise her children a sound education.
