The construction of this police station, which should open in 2024, has been requested for a long time by elected officials and residents of the 13th and 14th arrondissements.
1,700 m2 for a hundred police officers
The Department and the Metropolis sold for a symbolic euro this land of 10,000 m2, worth 8 million euros.
The future premises of 1,700 m2 will benefit from 9 million euros financed by the State, and one million euros by the Region.
A hundred police officers will be able to invest them by 2024. The current police station in Le Merlan, in the 14th, will remain open and retain its staff.
