“Cybercrime” prohibits the use of a child in pornographic material, realistic or imaginary

The legal advisor, Dr. Youssef Al-Sharif, confirmed that the Rumors and Cybercrime Law provided an integrated and comprehensive protection for the child, and prohibited its use in the production of pornography, whether realistic or imaginary, or through fees, using information technology means.

Al-Sharif explained, in episodes broadcast by "Emirates Today", to shed light on the newly issued laws, that the child, according to the rumors law, is every human being under the age of 18 Gregorian years, and the legislator chose the term human, to include both genders (male and female).

He pointed out that according to the Emirati approach, the legislator has intended to fully protect the child, as stated in Article (35) of the Rumors Law, to allocate protection related to the non-use of children in preparing pornographic materials, for which the legislator provided a definition in Article 1 of the Rumors and Crimes Law Electronic means the production, display, publication, possession or circulation of a picture, film or drawing, through a means of communication, social networking, or other means, or any other means, in which the child appears in a disgraceful situation, whether he is at work Sexual, realistic, fictitious, or simulated sexual display.

He explained that what is meant by sexual work is what may be in return for money, and what is voluntary, as it does not refer to human trafficking, or even forced or non-consensual sexual transactions, because this penalty is more severe than the penalties prescribed for child sex work, as the will of A child under the age of 14 is already excluded according to the law.

He explained what is meant by sexual display, for a person to display his body and body, in a way that temptation, seduction and incitement to immorality, whether by touching sensitive body sites, or reviewing parts of his body, whether it is realistic, imaginary or simulated.

He added that the imaginary sexual show is the formation of experiences in the mind, and the material can be the creation of previous experiences, such as memories, with imagined changes, or the invention of new experiences in the mind, even if it tells a story of attraction from his imagination.

As for imitation, Al-Sharif explained that he means it when he imitates or matches a specific act, whether it is realistic or imaginary.
