The US government has imposed sanctions such as asset freezes on two Russians and three companies in the Far East for supporting North Korea's missile development.

Two Russians and three companies in the Russian Far East have announced that the US Treasury has imposed sanctions such as asset freezes on the 11th.



Of these, the Russians, who run a wholesale company for food and other products in Vladivostok, are said to have supported the activities of those involved in the North Korean military industry.



Another Russian, who runs a car dealership in Vladivostok, is said to have arranged the purchase and transportation of various supplies for North Korean government agencies.



North Korea has been repeatedly launching missiles, and senior U.S. Byden administration officials have been involved in the ICBM = intercontinental ballistic missile being developed for ballistic missiles launched on the 27th and 5th of this month. He made it clear that he had done so, and expressed his intention to take new measures to prevent nuclear and missile development.



The US Treasury says, "We will impose sanctions to force North Korea to abandon the development of weapons of mass destruction and missiles and return to the diplomatic path."
