In Poland, aid is largely organized by NGOs and volunteers who believe that support is urgently needed.

- It's hard to feel that you can not help on the spot in Poland.

You just want to roll up your sleeves and work, but you can not.

I try to help as best I can here, says Dominika Spytek who volunteers in the collection and spread the information about it on social media.

What has been collected will be delivered partly to the association Wspólnota Polska in Warsaw and distributed among the Ukrainians who are already in Poland, and partly sent to Lviv where the Polish Confederation has contact with local actors.

- Already at 1 pm, many people have come here, including Swedish people.

Right now we have received six bags with items.

People also left the bags themselves, said Joanna Janasz from the Polish Society Ogniwo in a phone call a few hours after SVT's visit.
