“How to give work to people with disabilities?

It is from this questioning that the founder of Café Joyeux created his concept.

To help his friend, who has Down's syndrome, find work, he created a café-restaurant that employs people with mental and cognitive disabilities.

Since the August 2020 launch, it has developed it throughout France with eight new establishments.

Near the Paris Opera as on the Champs-Elysées, "joyful team members" dressed in black and yellow stand ready to welcome you.

20 Minutes

takes you to the café on the Champs-Elysées to meet them, as well as their management team, and understand their organization.

Between dialogues, implementation of color codes and adoption of adapted devices, the members of Café Joyeux are constantly adapting to their team members.

Augustin Kauffer, manager of the Parisian establishment, shows us their daily work.
