France agrees to give the elderly a fourth dose of Corona vaccines

French Prime Minister Jean Castix told Le Parisien newspaper in an interview published on Saturday that France is providing a fourth dose of vaccines against Covid-19 disease for those over 80 years old, and more than three months have passed since they received the previous booster dose.

The Prime Minister stated in January that France was preparing to launch a campaign for a fourth vaccination dose or a second booster dose as soon as the health authorities approved it.

During the interview, Castix said that the increase in infections with the Corona virus would not change the government's plans to ease the restrictions to combat the pandemic, starting from Monday, given the continuing decline in pressure on French hospitals.
