When Alina went to bed on Wednesday 23 February, everything was as usual and she thought she would wake up and have a Spanish test.

Instead, war broke out.

- I had a pressure over my chest and shook for several days, she says.

"I wanted to show the world"

To handle the situation, Alina started taking pictures of her new everyday life.

She took pictures of the packed backpack next to the bed and of the taped windows in the apartment.

When she opened Tiktok two days after the war began, she decided to show what it is like to live in Ukraine during the war.

- I want to show how our ordinary lives have changed to a life full of stress, and under what conditions innocent people live, she says.

Her comic clips went viral.

- Humor is also a weapon and a way to create community with others, she says.

- On the one hand, it is exciting that I became known for this.

But it's also hard to realize that I became famous because of the war in my country.
