During the meeting, deputies to the National People's Congress and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference discussed the "Report" in depth and agreed that the "Report" is guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, embodies the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 19th Plenary Sessions, and implements the central economic Work meeting decision-making deployment.
Listening to and absorbing the opinions and suggestions of deputies to the National People's Congress and members of the CPPCC is an important manifestation of responding to social concerns and serving the people through scientific and democratic decision-making.
According to the needs of epidemic prevention and control this year, the two sessions will continue and improve the practice of last year, and continue to listen to the opinions and suggestions of the deputies in four ways:

For the briefings of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the staff immediately sorted out and summarized, and sorted out the amendments and suggestions put forward by representatives and members.
The third is to listen to opinions and suggestions through the hotline.
Various departments of the State Council have opened hotlines for deputies, answering them on duty 24 hours a day, and recording opinions and suggestions made by deputies in a timely manner.
The fourth is to collect opinions and suggestions through mobile mini programs.
The General Office of the State Council has opened a small program called "Delegates/Committers Leave Messages on Government Work" to receive comments from delegates and committee members on the Report and government work.
Xiang Dong said that during the two sessions, the opinions and suggestions of the representatives gathered from various channels were systematically sorted out and summarized, and they were carefully studied one by one. Based on the principle of adopting as much as possible, a total of 92 additional revisions were made to the "Report", and many revisions were made. In general, the revisions cover most of the opinions and suggestions put forward by the delegates.
After the revision of the report is reported to the presidium of the National People's Congress, for the opinions not directly adopted in the report, the staff will contact the delegation and the deputies of the National People's Congress to communicate and give feedback in writing or by telephone.
