The bus catches fire, 35 students evacuated in Seine-et-Marne

A bus caught fire Thursday around 4 p.m. in Provins (Seine-et-Marne).

It was carrying 35 schoolchildren and four adults, who were returning from an outing to a museum in Nemours, reports

Thanks to the responsiveness of the vehicle driver, no injuries were reported.

All passengers were evacuated before the bus was destroyed by flames.

The bus will be appraised

A large rescue force was sent to the scene to put out the fire.

An investigation was opened to determine the reasons for this fire, which would have started at the level of the engine.

The bus, completely calcined, will be appraised, specify our colleagues.
