President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol appointed the newly elected People's Strength Representative Kim Eun-hye as the elected spokesperson.



Jang Je-won, the elected chief of staff, announced the appointment of Rep. Kim through a notice to the press.



Rep. Kim previously served as the public affairs director of the Election Countermeasures Headquarters and was mainly responsible for responding to the media.



He also served as a spokesperson for the people's power in the Kim Jong-in Emergency Response Committee system.



Rep. Kim is a member of the National Assembly Land Transport Committee and is in Bundangap-i, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, where Daejang-dong is located.



Rep. Kim, a former MBC reporter and anchor, served as a spokesperson for the Lee Myung-bak government's Blue House.



Rep. Kim's possibility of running for the Gyeonggi governor in the local elections in June is also being discussed.
