With a special program, the France Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai celebrated the International Women's Day, in the presence of famous female entrepreneurs and artists, as it addressed the achievements of women in various sectors at the regional and global levels.

The Commissioner-General of France at Expo Dubai, Eric Lanquier, said that International Women's Day carries lofty goals, pointing out that the celebration of the French pavilion at the event not only symbolizes the successes and achievements made by women, but also aims to shed light on the great progress and challenges that remain. faced.

The celebration witnessed a panel discussion that hosted a number of prominent female models in science and innovation, including Nahla Abed, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Middle East at Peru Veritas, and an award-winning Associate Professor of Immunology at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Dubai. “L’Oréal-UNESCO Middle East Regional Program for Rising Women Researchers for Women” Dr. Saba Al-Hayali and Rising Star Natalie Pickford.

For 23 years, the L'Oréal-UNESCO Program for Women in Science has supported more than 3,900 women researchers from more than 110 countries, and has been keen to reward excellence in scientific fields and inspire younger generations of women to pursue science as a career.
