Dubai Civil Defense teams controlled within 14 minutes a fire that broke out in the facade of a residential building in the Al Barsha 1 area this afternoon, after implementing an urgent evacuation and rescue plan for the residents of the building.

The field commander of the accident stated that a report was received at 1:24 p.m. today stating that a fire had occurred in a building in Al Barsha 1 area, so the Al Barsha Fire Station moved as a first responder to the competent authority, then the Marsa, Nad Al Sheba and Jebel Ali centers to provide support and assistance.

The firefighting and rescue teams arrived within only four minutes of receiving the report, and it turned out that the accident was a fire in the front facade of the building, so they immediately began evacuating the residents and rescue and then fighting the fire.

The field commander of the accident confirmed that the fire was controlled within 14 minutes only without recording any injuries or deaths, praising the efficiency of the firefighting and rescue teams and their professional treatment resulting from accumulated experiences in dealing with various types of accidents, especially building fires, pointing out that the damages were limited to material aspects only. The cooling operations were initiated immediately after the completion of the fight against the accident, and the site was transferred to the competent authorities to complete investigations into the causes of the fire.
