From next week, Södertälje municipality can start receiving 120 Ukrainian refugees.
Two of those who have already moved to Södertälje are mother Lilja and daughter Jaroslava.
- I left behind my husband, my brother and my father who defend our land, says Lilja.
Municipalities on standby
The municipality of Nykvarn writes on its website that as the situation looks right now, the municipality can solve the need without support from the public regarding housing.
But that the situation can change quickly.
At present, it is unclear how many refugees the municipality can receive.
"It is currently not entirely clear how many Salem municipalities can receive, but we will receive," writes Fuad Ganibegovic, head of authority at the social administration in Salem in an email to SVT.
