It is reported that President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol will stay at his home in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul until the inauguration of the president.

A key official of the people's power said in a media call today (10th), "Elect Yoon and his wife Kim Kun-hee will not change their residence and will be staying at their original home for the time being."

After marrying Kim in 2012, Yoon-eun has lived in a mixed-use apartment building across from the Court Complex in Seocho-dong.

The office of Cobana Contents, the exhibition organizer of Ms. Kim's, is also located in the basement of this apartment.

People around him suggested moving his residence due to the security problem, but it is said that President-elect Yoon expressed his will to stay at his home.

Previously, former President Lee Myung-bak moved from his home in Gahoe-dong, Jongno-gu, two days after winning the 2007 presidential election to the nearby Samcheong-dong Anga.

Former Presidents Roh Moo-hyun and Park Geun-hye stayed at their homes in Myeongnyun-dong, Jongno-gu and Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, respectively, when they were elected.

If the Office of the Presidential Takeover Committee is set up at the Korea Financial Research and Training Institute in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, as expected, it is expected that President-elect Yoon will also commute to work from his home in Seocho-dong.

President-elect Yoon promised to open the Blue House to the public and to set up an office in the Gwanghwamun Government Complex in Seoul.

The office relocation will be finalized at the transition stage.
