Mohamed bin Zayed stresses the need to resort to peaceful and diplomatic means to settle disputes

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a phone call from Alexander Lukashenko, President of the friendly Republic of Belarus, in the context of continuing contacts and discussions between His Highness and world leaders regarding the developments of the crisis on the Ukrainian arena.

During the call, His Highness and the President of Belarus exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, foremost of which are the developments of the Ukrainian crisis and its repercussions on the humanitarian level, as well as its repercussions on international peace and security.

During the call, His Highness stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to support the humanitarian situation of those affected by the crisis, facilitating quick and safe access to aid, and working to provide protection and preserve the lives of civilians.
