Katarina goes to Ukraine to help with healthcare

As a health delegate for the Red Cross, Katarina Öberg from Uppsala has worked in many different conflict areas.

Yemen, Iraq, Congo and the Central African Republic - to name a few.

Now it's time for the next mission.

Soon she will go down to Ukraine and help in health care.

- I can imagine that it will be about care of war wounded but also to support the health care facilities that are in place, says Katarina.

First from Sweden

Katarina Öberg is the first delegate in healthcare that the Red Cross sends from Sweden.

On a daily basis, she works in the infection department at the University Hospital.

In recent years, she has been busy with corona.

- You get a lot back from the patients - both here at home and out in the field.
