A nine-month prison sentence and a fine of 300 euros were pronounced on Tuesday against a 25-year-old man from Lyon.

The young man was prosecuted for having set fire to his vehicle, at the wheel of which he had struck a car parked in a street in the 7th arrondissement.

After the accident, the driver called his older brother to help him.

They then moved his car to set it on fire and thus erase all traces on the bodywork, and all evidence of his involvement in the pile-up.

Arrested on March 7 at 6:50 a.m., the brothers denied the facts, despite the statements of several witnesses.

Judged in immediate appearance, the youngest was therefore sentenced to nine months in prison and was placed under a warrant of committal.

The eldest was fined, the amount of which was not disclosed.

On the other hand, he was released from the facts of degradation.
