Mohamed bin Zayed receives Albanian Prime Minister

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, today received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama, who is on a working visit to the country during which he will attend his country's celebrations of the National Day that will be held at Expo 2020 Dubai.

His Highness welcomed the Albanian Prime Minister, wishing him a successful visit to the country, hoping that his visit would contribute to advancing cooperation and effective joint work between the two countries in various fields.

His Highness and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, during the meeting, which took place at the Beach Palace, discussed friendship relations and aspects of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Albania and ways to develop them, especially in the vital economic, investment and development fields and other fields.

His Highness and the Albanian Prime Minister also exchanged views on all events and developments on the regional and international arenas of common interest.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the UAE's keenness to expand the base of its cooperation with friendly countries, which is based on the principles of trust, mutual respect and joint cooperation, expressing his happiness at the level of relations with the Republic of Albania.

For his part, the Albanian Prime Minister expressed his happiness to visit the UAE and meet His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing his thanks for the good reception and generous hospitality, and he valued the continuous support provided by the UAE to his country, especially during the "Covid-19" pandemic.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of Culture and Youth Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, the country's non-resident ambassador to Albania, Suleiman Al Mazrouei, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Investment and Development Company Mohammed Al Abbar.

The delegation accompanying the guest, which includes Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Gajka, Minister of the Interior Pledar Gucci, Minister of Finance and Economy Dilina Ibrahimi, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Paluku, Minister of Culture Alpha Margariti, Ambassador of Albania to the UAE Ermal Derdha and Director of the Information and Information Agency Counselor Andrei Voga, was also present.
