His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, yesterday received the Prime Minister of the friendly Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, who is on a working visit to the country, during which he will attend his country's celebrations of the National Day that will be held at the Expo 2020 Dubai".

During the meeting, which took place at the Beach Palace, His Highness and Edi Rama discussed friendship relations and aspects of cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Albania, and ways to develop them, especially in the vital economic, investment and development fields, and other fields.
His Highness and the Albanian Prime Minister also exchanged views on all events and developments on the regional and international arenas of common interest.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the UAE's keenness to expand its base of cooperation with friendly countries, which is based on the principles of trust, mutual respect and joint cooperation, expressing his happiness at the level of relations with the Republic of Albania.
For his part, the Albanian Prime Minister expressed his happiness at visiting the UAE and meeting His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing his thanks for the kind reception and generous hospitality.
He valued the continuous support provided by the UAE to his country, especially during the "Covid-19" pandemic.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, and Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem bint Ibrahim Al-Hashemi, Minister of Culture and Youth Noura bint Mohammed Al-Kaabi, the country's non-resident ambassador to Albania, Suleiman Al-Mazrouei, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Investment and Development Company, Mohammed Al-Abbar, was also attended by the delegation accompanying the guest.
