The 54-year-old Colombian follows her transferred husband everywhere in France and abroad.

Two years ago, when the family returned to France after seven years in China, Carolina decided to look for a job.

“We go to Pôle emploi and it is not always the place where we find the most appropriate support. For them, we have not worked, so we are immediately cataloged as if we had done nothing ."

After 45 years, finding a job becomes difficult

Carolina then turned to Force Femmes and won a permanent contract after six months of support.

"She really knows how to value all our experiences," she says.

"When you think you can't say much, you finally realize that yes, you can say a lot of things."

For Sophie Fenaux, General Delegate of Force Femmes, Carolina's case is the perfect example of the difficulties faced by women of her age: "A woman over 45 takes twice as long as a man to find a job. The main difficulty for her is the loss of self-confidence."

For Sophie Fenaux, it is essential that the business world make a real place within the teams for senior women.
