A questionnaire that takes 20 short minutes and asks for some secrets about your political discussions with those around you.
This very official survey on the practice of information during the presidential election was launched by researchers from two laboratories at the Jean-Jaurès and Paul-Sabatier universities in Toulouse.
"The main idea is to try to understand how people use digital networks to learn about politics and to what extent they can replace more traditional sources such as news, newspapers or radio", explains Julien Figeac, the CNRS sociologist leading this study.
The team already has a base of 1,000 respondents, but hopes "2,000 to 3,000" by April 9 to draw a scientific analysis.
The researchers, who want to know in particular what can influence young people, will analyze in parallel the striking force of the Facebook pages of political parties and try to determine whether the regional press is competing with the networks to the same extent as the national press.
The questionnaire, confidential, is open to all French adults, metropolitan, overseas or abroad.
A count will allow the team to deliver initial lessons right between the two rounds of the election.
