"The House of Representatives reiterates its strong support for the security of the United States, pledges to help strengthen US energy security and reduce dependence on Russian energy imports, and emphasizes the importance of maintaining US energy independence for the benefit of the American people," the draft resolution specifies.

In addition, the text speaks of the need to build a wall on the southern border of the States, as well as the importance of supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of America.

Earlier, Polish MEP Anna Fotyga urged to ensure the independence of the European Union from the supply of hydrocarbons from Russia as soon as possible. 

As it became known on March 7, gas prices in Europe have updated their historical record and exceeded $3,000 per 1,000 cubic meters.
