When ready, a SDF aircraft carrying supplies is expected to leave Japan late at night on the 8th.

In response to a request from the Ukrainian government, which has been invaded by Russia, the government plans to provide bulletproof vests, helmets, winter clothes, emergency food, and other supplies owned by the Self-Defense Forces.



Of these, in order to send bulletproof vests, which are defense equipment, the government revised the operational guidelines of the "Three Principles of Transfer of Defense Equipment" at the ministerial meeting of the NSC = National Security Council on the 8th.



This amendment stipulates that only non-killing equipment can be provided to Ukraine, which has been invaded by violations of international law.
