On other issues, the presidential candidates who fight each other agree on the current government's real estate policy.

[Lee Jae-myung / Democratic Party Presidential Candidate (3rd of last month): It was difficult to give a number, but it was a very wrong and insufficient policy.]

[Yoon Seok-yeol/People’s Power Presidential Candidate (18th of last month): I changed the real estate policy 28 times, but this Is it right?

No matter how stupid you are, you can't make mistakes 28 times.]

[Sim Sang-jung / Justice Party presidential candidate (last month 21): Isn't the Moon Jae-in government's most failed real estate policy?]

That is why the solutions of Lee Jae-myung and Yoon Seok-yeol are similar.

As long as the #1 solution is supply.

Candidate Jae-myung Lee is planning to build 3.11 million units, and candidate Yoon Seok-yeol is planning to build 2.5 million units.

Candidate Jae-myung Lee said that he would build a lot of rental housing called basic housing after developing a lot of land for new houses, such as around Gimpo Airport.

Candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon said that he would introduce a 'cost housing' that would stimulate the private sector in reconstruction and redevelopment, and that young people would receive only 20% of the house price and pay back 80% gradually.

However, it has all its weaknesses, and it is unclear whether candidate Lee Jae-myung will be able to prepare large-scale housing sites in the metropolitan area in a situation where there is strong resistance from residents.

Candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon also raises concerns that if reconstruction and redevelopment are activated, the real estate market, which has barely reached a stable state, could be shaken significantly.

Candidate Sang-Jeong Shim is in the position to build 2 million public housing units for the common people, saying that the wealthy will have to increase the supply as it is now.

Regarding real estate taxes, there is a temperature difference between candidates.

Candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon is in a position to change the system so that taxes do not go up too much at once.

For example, there is a policy that sets an upper limit on which tax increases each year.

Also, the position is that the transfer tax when selling houses for the wealthy will not be subject to heavy taxation for the next two years.

Candidate Jae-myung Lee is a little different.

Although I agree to open the door for retirement, I am in the position to exempt 100% of the transfer tax for the first four months, and gradually reduce the amount of reduction and only do it for one year.

The general tax also focused more on reducing the burden on end-users and single-homeowners.

Candidate Sang-Jeong Shim, on the other hand, said that he would introduce a land excess income tax, which pays a tax when land prices rise more than the average.

[Seo Jin-hyeong / President of the Korean Real Estate Association: No matter who is elected, the most urgent task is to predict the demand for housing supply in the government, suggest supply measures that meet the demand, and accurately practice and implement it…

.]

Candidate Jae-myung Lee proposed to keep the current status, and Candidate Seok-yeol Yoon proposed to reduce the renewal right to two years even with regard to the 3 rental law.
