The Japanese Foreign Ministry assigned the territory of Russia the third of four levels of danger

This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a statement on the website of the Japanese Foreign Ministry.

The third level of danger means a recommendation for citizens to refuse to travel to the country.

Earlier, the Japanese Foreign Ministry urged citizens of the country to refrain from traveling to Russia.

The Japanese authorities have imposed restrictions on Russian President Vladimir Putin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and 49 Russian companies.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has previously announced the imposition of Tokyo sanctions against the Central Bank of Russia.
