Linköping Science Park has been granted funding via the EU fund React to establish a regional cyber security node.
The purpose is to strengthen the digitalisation capacity of Östergötland companies.
- The need to integrate security aspects into all digitization has increased in recent years as the number of intrusions and hacker attacks has escalated.
The development of the last week in Ukraine has further raised the issues of defense and security, as not least the risk of disinformation and hacker attacks is expected to increase, says Lena Miranda, CEO of Linköping Science Park in the press release.
The primary target group for the project is companies and businesses that develop digital solutions.

"Attempts are constantly being made," says Morgan Olofsson at MSB about cyber security.
However, he does not want to comment on what was behind the authority's website being down.
